ITD GmbH presents tangible solutions and more at Medica 2009

Arrange a meeting with us at the event! Products, 2009

When the world’s biggest technical medical exhibition – Medica – opens it doors in Düsseldorf from 18 to 21 November 2009, the Bavarian manufacturer of stationary and mobile support systems will also be represented. Europe’s market leader will present a number of upgrades and refinements to its product range to provide enhanced solutions for customers’ requirements at the modern, well-lit and attractive stand located in Hall 13 (A-55) with a footprint of some 66 square metres. ITD will also present a virtual solution for its products.

uni-cart – space-saving with even better performance

Developed in a streamlined and discrete design, the unit-cart mobile equipment cart has already proved successful in numerous applications. This cart is deployed where space is at a premium and is intended primarily for simpler configurations. Easy-roll, twin swivel castors provide a high level of mobility and smooth-running ride characteristics, variable stabilizer length even for projecting loads to permit a high level of stability and an open support column for integrated power supply and concealed cable management.

Optimizing the base has enhanced the stability of the single-column cart in the 4-stabilizer version as well as increasing the total payload by 30%. This allows the optimized version of uni-cart to provide a load capacity of up to 65 kg / 143 lbs.

ITD products with increased ergonomic design

ITD support systems have not simply been designed to provide optimum protection for the installed units and to carry heavy loads. They are also intended to take account of the advanced ergonomic concepts demanded. Mobile support systems are adapted to natural movement processes and easy-roll twin castors allow carts to be pushed easily and roll smoothly over obstacles. Specially adapted work surfaces allow users to adopt a natural body position over the entire product range. The unicart and pro-cart mobile support systems and the modul-port carrier systems are therefore available now with optimized mechanical or electrical height adjustment. Monitor and keyboard holders can be adjusted within a variable range of 300 mm and brought to the desired sitting or standing position either at the touch of a button or with minimum effort.

The Online Configurator – individual solution at the touch of a button

www.itd-cart.com/configurator will be the future Internet address when existing and prospective customers want to configure their individual support system from the comprehensive standard range of ITD GmbH on screen. At the Medica exhibition, two dedicated workstations are available on the stand of the support-system manufacturer where visitors can select a pre-configured standard support system from the mobile equipment carts uni-cart, pro-cart, classic-cart and compact-cart, and make appropriate modifications to this cart. They also have the option of “assembling” an individual mobile carrier system in 3D display in a step-by-step approach with easy “Drag & Drop” based on types with defined basic frame.

All system components and accessories in the range of ITD GmbH can be positioned by mouse click at the relevant desired position or modified and deleted retrospectively. An intelligent plausibility test in the Configurator identifies which combinations and distances are permissible and which are not. A solution for mobile equipment carts is currently available. A dedicated Product Configurator for the modul-port stationary support system will also be available by the end of the year.

New “Catalogue for modul-port stationary support system”

The new edition of the catalogue for the modul-port stationary support system will be published punctually for Medica. This completely revised version presents prospective customers with stationary solutions on nearly 60 pages. The catalogue provides an overview of all the available standard components for this product range. The catalogue has been designed in a well-defined, appealing layout to present extensive information on products and technical issues. It is illustrated with lots of informative pictures and diagrams and will be available on the new ITD Website by clicking on www.itd-cart.com and going to “Downloads”.
