„MITDENKEN“ at MEDICA 2007

Under the motto “MITDENKEN”, ITD GmbH – one of the leading providers of mobile and stationary carrier systems – is presenting two product innovations to the trade audience at exhibition stand A55 in Hall 13: The equipment carrier “compact-cart” has been marketed successfully for many years and this product has been given a comprehensive facelift. The mobile equipment carrier “pro-cart” has been provided with a number of new features including a power supply that is independent of mains electricity.

“compact-cart” in new design

The base is supplied in widths of 450, 500 or 650mm and the “new” compact-cart” has undergone substantial changes in the base and in the area of power supply. Supplied with an isolating transformer generating power up to 2000 VA, the useful depth was increased to 491mm and the overall payload went up from 150 to 180 kg. The ratio of platform area to useful area was further optimized thanks to the compact design and complete tilt stability. Smart cable management now permits installation of standard socket strips, e.g. hospital grade, without loss of slots over the entire length of the extrusion, as well as providing protection against unauthorized access, virtually “invisible” cable management, and cable entry and exit along the entire support columns. A range of design interfaces, e.g. along the power column, completes the facelift and offers a perfect match with the desired corporate design.

Maximum safety despite low weight, refined cable management for virtually “invisible” cable routing, cable entry and exit along the support column – these are just a few of the features that support the wide-ranging deployment of pro-cart in many areas of medicine. pro-cart has also gained its reputation as a mobile patient carrier thanks to the open architecture which permits accommodation of many different items of equipment while also providing perfect ergonomic conditions at the workplace with power-adjusted variable height. Integration of a power supply which is independent of the mains supply – with a life of more than 8 hours – makes it an ideal assistant to accompany each ward round.
