Already available in the standard "Profi" version, an Electro-box can also be installed as a retrofit. "The advantage of this concept is that large storage space below the base frame can be used simultaneously, without the loss of important locations for installation along the support pillar. Thus, e.g. socket strips or electrical accessories (e.g. batteries) can be stored safely and space-saving", stated Alfons Brummer, Sales Director at ITD. "Due to the additional locking mechanism, the box also protects against unauthorized access and, because of the enclosed housing, also simultaneously fulfills the daily hygienic requirements in the practice. A POAG plug located on the outside of the Electro-box provides connection to equipotential bonding. Furthermore, larger socket strips can be integrated into the system through a special electric tub, inconspicuously located below a storage shelf.

This new type of electrification is supplemented by cable ducts that are (can be) installed along the side of the complete height of the support pillar. "This combination enables a coherent electrification and wiring concept for the vexio-cart, according to Brummer. "The ducts along the support pillar ensure practically invisible installation of data and mains lines, as well as being protected and, nevertheless, makes for quick and easy access at any time, due to a special folding mechanism with a large opening angle. Aspects that our customers appreciate." In addition, opening slots along the ducts provide for short connection lines and flexible routing of the cable.

Hygiene standard at the highest level

Also the indispensable high daily requirements of hygiene in the practice or hospital are impressively taken into consideration by the vexio-cart: Thereby, the easy to maintain design, as well as smooth, powder-coated surfaces, enable easy and quick cleaning by wiping and disinfection. As an option, hygiene strips protect against contamination. "Furthermore", said Brummer "the high standard of hygiene of the vexio-cart is reflected by the fact that it has been awarded the recognized, hygienic test mark of the DGKH. This authenticates the hygienic safety for the intended use, black on white.“

Save, print, rework, request

Configurations compiled can be saved, repeatedly called up and printed. "The configurations remain saved intermediately on a separate server for a longer period, so that it is not necessary to completely create them again after often long, laborious decision processes but by simply automatically allocating a code, can be called up and processed", explained Müller. Furthermore, the user can send their configuration as a request, without obligation.
