pro-cart Mobile Computing – now even more powerful

Up to three devices can be powered by the supply and charging unit with different, fixed voltages of 12 V, 20 V and 24 V. Other output voltages that you may require are also available on request. The maximum output power is 130 W per slot, however the total power of 200 W must however not be exceeded. The integrated "master-slave" function allows the gradual connection of the loads. The supply and charging unit can be operated with the following input voltages: AC 115V/230V, 50Hz/60Hz.

The battery has a long life of up to 10 hours with a capacity of 12V and 55 Ah. The battery charge and other features can always be clearly read on a display on the shelf, allowing safety and optimum handling in daily use. In addition an exhaustive discharge - thus the destruction of the battery - is prevented by an appropriate protection.

Expansion of the accessory programme: LED light strip

With a variety of options for use and fixation it provides special accent lighting, especially when working in darkened rooms.

Thus, it provides reduced light for data entering on the keyboard or system operation. In addition, the LED light strip can be used to directly illuminate the surrounding area of the equipment trolley on the floor and thus, for example, enable to better identify cables and hoses on the floor.

They are either mounted by means of a handy mounting plate with adhesive pad or two clips.

Safety first: New isolating transformers from ITD GmbH

You can be sure with the new toroidal transformers for mobile appliance supports pro-cart, classic-cart, compact-cart and endo-cart from ITD GmbH. Reduction of the appliance leakage currents is ensured by adherence to the current applicable standards in accordance with EN60601-1 3rd edition. Transformer relays, with quicker half-wave failure detection to adhere to the EN61000-4-11, as well as certification in accordance with the NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) for importation into the USA and Canada, are further indispensable standards that must be complied with.

For the first time, the isolating transformer has been designed as a fully independent unit. Thereby, the operation is much safer and simpler. Thus, commissioning can also be carried out on site by the customer. Furthermore, the isolating transformer unit can be easily removed and, for servicing, can be replaced with a few hand movements. Thereby, the downtime is significantly reduced and the costs reduced to a minimum.

The new isolating transformer is equipped with 6 to 8 integrated sockets for cold devices and an On/Off switch. As required, additional socket strips and an external On/Off switch can be installed. Furthermore, all connection lines are coded for plugging in and, with the exception of the 2000 VA version, all types can be switched between 100/115V and 230V. Depending on the design of the appliance trolleys, the isolating transformers in the performance class 660/1000/1200/1600/2000VA are available with and without insulation monitoring. For future requirements, universal installation is possible at any time – also as retrofit

The objective of the "AEO certification" is to safeguard the continuous international supply chain from the manufacturer of goods to the end consumer. With the certification, ITD GmbH has attained the status of the approved economic operators, due to the international significance is abbreviated to "AEO" (Authorised Economic Operator). The certification can be carried out in different variations that differ themselves regarding their conditions for approval and, thus, the associated benefits. ITD GmbH has successfully positioned themselves with the most comprehensive variant "AEO-F(Full)" of the examination for all safety-relevant and customs standards. The "AEO-F status" now entitles concessions for safety-relevant custom checks and simplifications according to the customs regulations. Thus, an important step has been made in the future in which the secured delivery chains can gain even more in significance, due to globalization and the changed international position on safety.

The appliance trolley compact-cart – the compact one on a special mission

The compact-cart base frame is available in two designs: The "Economy" version fulfills all primary demands on a functional, mobile appliance support. Small quantity of cable and all conventional system components, as well as accessories, can be accepted with no problem. With a payload of 150 kg, this version, as entry-level model, provides the ideal solution with a compact construction.

The "Profi" version denotes standard, defined, clever cable management with large volume energy pillars, a higher payload of up to 180 kg and acceptance of a powerful isolating transformer of up to 2000 VA in the base of the appliance trolley.

For the versatile fields of application, both base frames are available in various heights and widths. Decorative elements, such as for example on the energy pillars or on the storage base also provide the option to make adaptations to the colour of the appliance or company CI.

Energy pillars and Power Unit
The large volume energy pillars not only permit acceptance of all conventional socket strips along the total length of the section – without loss of socket spaces. They also protect the electrification from unauthorized access. In addition, as standard, there is separate routing of data and mains lines. Soft rubber lips on the inside afford a short connection line for, e.g. unobstructed cleaning by wiping. A central on and off switch can be integrated in the energy pillar.

As an option, the compact-cart can also be equipped with a power unit. This, together with the energy pillars, provides covered and direct wiring, accepts socket strips and, through the locking mechanism, provides protection from unauthorized access.

Isolating transformer
Powerful isolating transformers (1200 VA / 2000 VA) for the reduction of appliance leakage currents can be installed on an appliance trolley with a width from 450 mm. As an option, the isolating transformers can also be equipped with an insulation monitor.

Versatile application fields by connection of the flexion-port
There is also provision for extension of the connection options. The variable-height support arm flexion-port can be installed on the side of the vertical profiles as well as using a transverse traverse and is an advantage in ergonomic terms.

In addition, the standard includes special requirements for the medical product industry, such as for example the control of the development processes, traceability, retention periods for documents and statutory requirements.

Therefore, with the certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485, above all, ITD GmbH provides their customers and business partners reliability and specific benefit. ITD presents a new product catalogue "carry ’n’ hold" for stationary carrier systems

In addition to the range of products modul-port, the product catalogue "Stationary carrier systems" also includes for the first time the versatile ranges of application of the height-adjustable support arm system, flexion-port. This new support arm system has been introduced within the framework of the MEDICA 2010 and provides versatile ranges of application in the stationary sector, or for connection to mobile appliance carriers. In addition, the catalogue contains a comprehensive range of accessories with which you can adapt our products corresponding to your requirements.

In the first section, the new catalogue gives comprehensive information about the different areas of application and indicates the advantages of the stationary carrier system, as well as the height-adjustable support arm system. In addition, there is further information about the modular idea and the extended, practically invisible cable management.

The subsequent product part gives the reader a comprehensive overview of the large selection of available fixed and height-adjustable support arms.
