OUR APPROACH
“We do not start with the device carrier. And we do not stop there.”
For us, good collaboration begins with careful listening. We want to understand the customer's complete application and the processs around. Not only the requirements for the device carrier, but also what happens before and after it: engineering, device integration, logistics, distribution. We ask questions so that we can develop approaches that accelerate market launches or reduce effort.
We do not see ourselves as a pure hardware supplier, but as a partner offering solutions that go beyond the device carrier. Our goal is to relieve customers and bring the complete system to market as quickly as possible.
OFFERING
More than device carriers.
A system partner for MedTech companies.
iTD supports MedTech companies from the first concept of the device carrier to the ready-to-use system solution — from concept and prototyping through serial manufacturing and device integration, to packaging, warehousing and delivery to the point of care.
In doing so, we take on tasks that are not part of our customers' core business, but are essential for a successful market launch. We reduce effort, save time and create resources that MedTech companies can use for product development and innovation.
CUSTOMER VALUE
How customers benefit from working with iTD
iTD supports MedTech companies along the value chain — from the first need for a carrier solution to the delivered system. In doing so, we take on tasks beyond the device carrier, reduce internal effort for customers, accelerate market launches and support international growth.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions about iTD
iTD supports MedTech companies from the first need for a medical device carrier to the delivered system at the point of care. The scope of services includes medical equipment carts, mounting arms, engineering support, device integration, system testing, documentation, packaging, warehousing and delivery.
iTD primarily supports MedTech OEMs that develop medical devices and bring them into clinical applications. In addition, iTD works with hospitals, medical specialist dealers and distributors.
iTD offers medical equipment carts, mounting arms and carrier systems for numerous MedTech applications — including endoscopy, surgery, diagnostics, patient monitoring, PDMS, surgical navigation & robotics, ultrasound, ECG, ventilation, anesthesia, neurology, physiotherapy, infusion technology as well as IT and workstation carts. Depending on the application, iTD creates the right product configuration, either from the modular standard or through customer-specific adaptations.
“Beyond hardware” means that iTD does not only offer medical equipment carts and mounting arms. iTD also supports tasks beyond the device carrier. These include services for concept and engineering, contract manufacturing, installation of components and devices, test laboratory services, documentation, packaging, warehousing and delivery.
Multix Solutions has been part of the iTD Group since 2025 and expands the portfolio with platform-based medical trolleys in Italian design. The solutions complement the iTD offering for applications such as ECG, ultrasound, ventilation as well as IT and workstation carts — especially where flexible and design-oriented concepts are required.
Customers benefit from over 30 years of experience with medical device carriers, holistic services and global infrastructure. Instead of building these tasks entirely in-house, MedTech companies can rely on established processes, quality standards, technical expertise and existing capacities.
This reduces internal effort, accelerates market launches, improves scalability and creates greater security in delivery, quality and international growth.
iTD supports international MedTech projects through a global network with local resources in Germany, Italy, the USA, China, India and Australia as well as through diversified supply chains. Regional manufacturing and sourcing structures help reduce delivery and cost risks and make international rollouts more predictable.
iTD works with a certified quality management system and medical safety standards. iTD products are class I medical devices within the meaning of the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR). These include DIN EN ISO 13485 as well as requirements in the context of IEC/EN 60601-1. Inspection, testing and documentation processes support reproducible quality and reliable project implementation.
iTD has been part of the American TouchPoint Inc. group since 2012. Since 2025, Multix Solutions has strengthened the iTD Group with platform-based medical trolleys and Italian design expertise. This expands iTD's portfolio for additional applications and flexible solution concepts.
