Another production site was opened in September 2018. All two-pillar carts of ITD GmbH are manufactured in Egglham in Lower Bavaria on a working area of approximately 5,000 m².
The new, height-adjustable support arm lf-port is represented for the first time. With its compact and height-variable design monitors and other medical devices can be adjusted individually.
The new vexio-cart "Plus" offers a front-opening extrusion. This ensures a simple and tool-free cable routing.
With the introduction of the mobile computing carts in 2016, all patient data can be now documented and retrieved directly at the point of care.

With the development of the flexion-port, ITD GmbH introduced its own height-adjustable arms into its range for the first time for a variety of applications. Flexion-port support arms are used on both equipment carts as well as stationary carriers
ITD GmbH strongly invested in the expansion of production areas at the Johanniskirchen location. The production and warehouse space was nearly doubled at almost 4,000 m2.
The ITD equipment cart range was rounded out with the pro-cart. This closed the gap between the small uni-cart and two-pillar carts. Special customer requirements were able to be solved in an innovative way.
In November of this year, ITD founded its first subsidiary, the ITD Corporation in Prospect, Connecticut (USA).
The mobile equipment cart compact-cart was especially developed for endoscopy applications. It is characterised by its compact construction, generous space and outstanding tilt resistance.
Relocation to the newly built manufacturing facility at the Johanniskirchen location in Lower Bavaria. Receiving, assembly and shipping could easily be carried out now at the 1,200 m2 facility. 200 m2 in addition were allotted for office space.
New market requirements for stationary connection of devices led to the development of the modul-port support-arm system. The modul-port support-arm system provides a universal solution for stationary installation of monitors on the respective infrastructure in hospital.
ITD obtained certification according to DIN ISO 9001 for its quality management. CE labelling for the products as well as their declaration as class I medical products in accordance with Directive 92 /43 EWG followed.
ITD GmbH developed its first single-column cart with the uni-cart. The trend to integrate smaller medical equipment was the driver of innovation here.
ITD introduces its first mobile equipment carrier to the market with the classic-cart two-column cart. The classic-cart is characterised by modularity and flexibility and became a trend-setter in medical technology.
